Main components of bridge cranes
1. Main beam: The main beam is the most important component of a bridge crane. It spans the tracks on both sides of the factory building and is the core structure that carries all the loads. It is divided into single beam (lightweight) or double beam (heavyweight), and the material is mostly box steel or truss structure.
2. End carriage: The function of the end beam is to connect the two ends of the main beam, support the trolley running mechanism, and drive the whole machine to move along the track. It includes a wheel set, a drive motor, a reducer and a brake.
3. Electric hoist: The electric hoist moves horizontally along the main beam and is responsible for the precise positioning of the hoisted goods. Common electric hoists for bridge cranes include CD MD type electric wire rope hoists, European wire rope hoists, etc.
4. Electric control system: The power supply and control core of the bridge crane, including power supply, control cabinet, operating table and safety protection device, which can support speed regulation (such as frequency conversion control) remote control operation and other functions
