The large frames we weld weigh 4,400 pounds. Before using a jib crane, moving them required three workers and a forklift, which was extremely risky! Now we bolt the crane to the shop floor and it covers the entire workstation. If the weight limit is exceeded, an overload safety switch stops the lifting.
